Four years ago today my family and I went out west to visit relatives in a desolate part of Washington State referred to as the "Scablands". In this arrid part of a great state is where our family farmed and still farms thousands of acres of wheat. Needless to say I am deeply fascinated with this country, and a component of that fascination are the Dust Devils. I risked my life one afternoon so that I could capture and share with you the sparse lifespan of DD. Enjoy.
It is Friday night July the 29th at the Intersection in downtown Grand Rapids. Lois is about to acheive another one of those things she wants to do and does it. We were all very proud of her and her bandmates, FUSE (female MUSE).
The fourth in a line of videos depicting my bowls to date.
Track 3 in a series of videos devoted to my bowls, only this time no poetry. I don't write as much as i used to. Maybe I should stop painting and that would come back.
Nothing like watching fields of bowls roll by your train window.
Don't be fooled by the previous videos cover. Track two is behind that window. |
